This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Singapore. You will manage day-to-day financial operations, prepare financial statements and reports, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and maintain accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Reporting: Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
- Compliance & Tax: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and Singapore financial regulations, including tax compliance.
- Payroll: Handle payroll processing.
- Audit: Support internal and external audits.
- Budgeting: Support budget planning and internal financial processes.
Required Qualifications & Qualities
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including financial reporting, auditing, and tax compliance.
- Tools: Proficiency with accounting software and tools, as well as financial analysis.
- Local Knowledge: Knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and standards.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent accuracy and problem-solving abilities.
- Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Communication: Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- CPA certification or equivalent.
